On October 17, 2015, in Perris, California, Armour College of Engineering Professor Emeritus John Kallend was part of a group of 61 skydivers that set a new official world record for the largest wingsuit formation. Kallend recently received a certificate recognizing the world record jump from the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale.
