As interest in artificial intelligence (AI) grows, many researchers are trying to examine how new AI tools can be leveraged in their research field. In order to help facilitate learning and education in AI for researchers, the AI Education Working Group (https://sites.google.com/iit.edu/ai-education/) is organizing a series of tutorials designed for faculty and researchers.
The first tutorial will take place on Wednesday, October 23 from 12:45–1:45 p.m. in Stuart Building 111. This tutorial will provide an introduction to artificial intelligence and an overview of common AI tools. Mustafa Bilgic, Associate Prof. of Computer Science and Dir. of MAS in AI program will present this tutorial. Please RSVP for this event at https://forms.gle/XmrMV6Hocx9kxEtT6.
A second tutorial covering the use of AI tools for text analysis, including a hands-on session, will take place on Wednesday, November 13th from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Aron Culotta, Associate Prof. of Computer Science and Dir. of BS in AI program will present the text analysis tutorial.
