As a member of the E&I consortium, members of the Illinois Tech community can rent cars at a discounted rate. The discounts are available for both business and leisure rentals.

When renting cars while on Illinois Tech business, the renter should be identified as: “Illinois Institute of Technology – (then enter the name of the faculty, staff, or student).”

Setting up the rental in this manner is important for assuring proper insurance coverage.

Leisure rentals are always made in the primary driver’s name with no reference to Illinois Tech.
