What does Chicago mean to you? How do you see Chicago through your own eyes? How do you view IIT in the greater context of Chicago? Maybe you just have some cool photos of Chicago to share.
IIT Magazine is taking submissions of student photos that show all that is special about Chicago — through the eyes of IIT students. Photos will be selected based on both the unique point of view expressed and artistic quality. We are especially interested in Chicago photos that illustrate an IIT connection, but any photos focusing on Chicago are welcome. A handful of photos will be selected for publication in the winter issue of IIT Magazine. Students whose photos are selected for final publication will receive a $50 gift certificate.
Submit your entries to iitmagazine@iit.edu. Please be sure to include the following:
- Student name, major, and year
- A few sentences about what Chicago means to you and how that is reflected in your photograph
Please note that all photos submitted must be high resolution (300 dpi or greater). Photos submitted do not need to be new; you can submit photos you took sometime in the past.
Deadline to submit photos is Friday, November 16, 2012. All students who submit photos agree to allow IIT Magazine to use the images, if published, royalty free.
