Christopher Kennedy, chairman of the University of Illinois Board of Trustees and Joseph P. Kennedy Enterprises, Inc., the investment firm of the Kennedy family, will be the keynote speaker at breakfast during the Global Alumni Gathering, from 8:30-10 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in the Atrium of the Technology Business Center (TBC) at University Technology Park.
Kennedy will discuss research universities as economic engines and their importance to the future of Illinois. Following the keynote, Industry Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship Nik Rokop will lead a CEO roundtable discussion including speakers Prafal Kulkarni (M.S. ARCH ’76), Dhongchai Lamsam (M.S. IE ’70), and Atul Thakkar (M.S. EE ’71).
