On April 29, the Illinois Tech Women’s Track and Field team traveled southeast to Valparaiso University for the Crusader Open and placed eighth on the day.

• Emmalee Ciriacks was awesome in the triple jump. She set a personal record with a 10.16m mark, good for a second-place finish.
