A panel discussion on “Computational Chemistry and the 2013 Nobel Prize”, will take place on Wednesday, October 23, from 3:15-4:15pm in Life Sciences room 111.
For the third time, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded in the area of computational chemistry. IIT has recently welcomed two new faculty, David Minh and Andrey Rogachev, in this increasingly important area. In this panel discussion, the new faculty members will share their perspectives on the prize-winning work and discuss the present state and future relevance of computational chemistry as a whole.
