Some departments are considering the purchase of new copiers. IIT may be able to negotiate a volume purchase agreement if the effort is coordinated. If your department is planning on making a purchase for delivery by May 31, contact Frank FioRito in Purchasing at ffiorito@iit.edu by April 16.

As some used copiers become available, they may be suitable for use by departments looking for a back-up machine. Contact Purchasing if your department is interested in receiving one of these machines.

When buying a new copier, remember that the purchase of the maintenance agreement represents a major part of the investment. Consult Purchasing to make an informed decision.
