CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship to Promote Racial Diversity: Supporting Underrepresented Scientists in Immuno-Oncology

The Cancer Research Institute is currently accepting applications for the CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship to Promote Racial Diversity. This program furthers career development and supports laboratory research for qualified young scientists from underrepresented minorities working under the mentorship of renowned immunologists at leading universities and research centers around the world. The program provides additional support for mentoring and career advancement to these individuals.
CRI invites applications from candidates who identify as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino/a American, or American Indian or Alaska Native.

CRI is seeking hypothesis-driven, mechanistic studies in both immunology and tumor immunology that aim to directly impact our understanding of the immune system’s role in cancer. Applications for this program will also be considered for the standard CRI Irvington Fellowship.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2022 (Your proposal is due to OSRP no later than five days prior to the sponsor deadline.)

Funding: $186,000 over three years
Beginning January 1, 2022, CRI is increasing the annual institutional allowance for new fellowships (awarded after January 2022) from $1,500/year to $5,000/year. Above amount reflects this increase.
