The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will continue its Seminar Series on Thursday, October 3 from 10:30 a.m. in Illinois Tech Tower 16th Floor classroom, featuring guest speaker Baosen Zhang, Keith & Nancy Rattie Endowed Career Development Professor Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Washington.

Zhang will talk about bridging the gap between model accuracy and control tractability faced by neural networks, by explicitly constructing networks that are convex with respect to their inputs.
