Summer 2019 graduating students whose degrees are awarded by August 17 by the Offices of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Graduate Academic Affairs, and who have met all outstanding obligations to the university may pick up their diplomas beginning on Wednesday, August 21 in the Office of the Registrar, Tech Park South, Suite 2022.

Identification

Your Student ID is the preferred method of identification, but a valid photo identification will work as well.

Alternative Person Pickup Option

To authorize someone to pick up your diploma in the Office of the Registrar, send an email to registrar@iit.edu with your full name, student ID number, and the full name of your designated person. In the subject line of the email, enter “Alternative Pickup Request.” The diploma pickup designee will be asked for valid photo identification at the time of the transaction.

Diploma Shipping Option

Graduating students unable to pick up their diplomas may request the diplomas be shipped to a preferred address at no charge by completing the Diploma Shipping Request Form. The shipment of diplomas will begin on Thursday, September 5 and requests will be processed in the order they are received.

Diplomas are shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service) and the tracking number will be provided to the email address entered in the form once the diploma shipping request has been processed. Note that a signature may be required at the time of delivery and you will receive tracking information from UPS.com.
