The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced its DRAFT NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing and Supplemental DRAFT Guidance in the Federal Register.

The NIH solicits research community input on the draft policy and guidance, with a deadline of January 10, 2020 for comments.  The policy, guidance and the link for submitting comments are included in the above announcement. Per the announcement, the draft policy and guidance:

“when finalized and effective, would apply to all NIH-funded or conducted research generating scientific data, regardless of data type, size, or the requested amount of funding”
