The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will continue its Seminar Series on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 12:45–1:45 p.m. in Siegel Hall, Room 118, featuring guest speaker Robert S. Eisenberg, Ph.D.
In his talk titled “Maxwell’s Core Equations: Exact, Universal, and Scary,” Dr. Eisenberg will talk about how when the Maxwell equations are written without a dielectric constant, they are universal and exact, for fields less than the Schwinger limit ( = 1.3×〖10〗^18v/m), from inside atoms to between stars.
This seminar is open to everyone at Illinois Tech. For more information regarding this seminar, please contact the ECE department at 312.567.3400. or ece@iit.edu.
