The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will continue its Seminar Series on Friday, October 6 from 11 a.m.–noon in Wishnick Hall, Room 113, with guest speaker Anijo Mathew, academic director for the new Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship.

In this talk, Mathew, will discuss how design-led initiatives can change the direction of innovation and entrepreneurship. Pulling from 10 years of experience in corporate, non-profit, and social contexts, he will show how both small and large organizations around the world have re-framed problems from a human-centered perspective to achieve truly disruptive impact, and how we can learn from these to build new companies which do the same.
