Title: Signal and Image Processing in Tomographic Imaging – A Tutorial

Yang will talk about This talk is intended to provide a quick tutorial on the mathematical principle of tomographic imaging and several interesting yet challenging associated problems which are rooted in signal and image processing. Nowadays tomographic imaging is routinely used to obtain images of organs inside the human body, noninvasively, via various modalities such as CT, MRI, PET, etc.
