Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW-IIT) has some exciting events lined up for April. We have a very popular volunteering session: Free Geek Volunteering Session. where participants disassemble old electronics and prevent e-waste. This session will be held on Sunday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sign up here if you are interested.

Saturday, April 16 – The Plant Tour

We will be touring Plant Chicago. They are a sustainability organization that specializes in aquaponics, energy conservation, material reuse, etc. We will depart campus at 1:15 p.m. and the tour will take place from 2-4 p.m. Sign up for the tour here.

Saturday, April 23 – Garfield Park Conservatory

Our last trip of the year will be a visit to Garfield Park Conservatory at noon. Feel free to bring friends to de-stress before finals.
