English Language Services invites you to read and discuss award-winning sci-fi author Ted Chiang’s short story “Story of Your Life.” Does language shape who we are and how we think? What would an alien language look like and how would linguists study it? Interested in discussing language, culture, and science? Join English Language Services, the Department of Physics, and Lewis College for a discussion of the novella “Story of Your Life,” which inspired the movie “Arrival.”
