Fall 2019 degrees will be conferred on Saturday, December 21.

Fall 2019 graduates whose degrees were awarded by December 21, 2019 by the Offices of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Graduate Academic Affairs and who have met all outstanding obligations to the university may begin picking up their diplomas in person on Monday, January 6, 2020 in the Office of the Registrar, IIT Tower, Suite 2C8-1

Identification: Your IIT Student ID is the preferred method of identification but a valid photo identification will work as well.

Alternative person pick up option: To authorize someone to pick up your diploma for you, send an email to registrar@iit.edu with your full name, student ID number and the full name of your designated person. In the subject line of the email enter “Alternative pick up request.” The alternative diploma pick up designee will be asked for a valid photo identification at the time of the transaction.

Diploma shipping option: Graduates unable to pick up their diplomas may request that their diplomas be shipped to a preferred address at no charge by completing the Diploma Shipping Request form. The shipment of diplomas begins on January 13, and requests will be processed in the order they are received.

The tracking number for the shipment will be provided to the email address entered in the form once the diploma shipping request has been processed. Diplomas are shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service). A signature may be required at the time of delivery.
