Join us on Friday, February 26 at 4 p.m. for a special documentary chronicling the impact of the historic Roberts Temple Church located a few blocks from the Illinois Tech campus.

The short film discusses the church’s role in the Civil Rights Movement, gospel music, rock music, and significance in the Church of God in Christ denomination. Stay for the post film discussion with the filmmaker, Lora Branch, great grand-daughter of Bishop Roberts, Pastor Chris Harris, and Bob Marovich, Journal of Gospel Music.
