GamebIITes: a Juried Competition for Student Games

GamebIITes is a competition for games created by students from Chicago schools. Any undergraduate or graduate student or student group is welcome to submit a game to this competition juried by industry professionals. Games may be submitted until March 1 at 11:59 p.m. to http://bit.do/gamebIITes.

Digital game submissions must include:

  • Names and institutional affiliation of each member of the team
  • A build of the game
  • A short video demo of the game
  • A brief description about the game (approx. 200 words)
  • Images of the game

Non-digital game submissions must include:

  • Names and institutional affiliation of each member of the team
  • A short video demo of the game being played
  • A brief description about the game (approx. 200 words)
  • A complete rule set for the game, including a list of game components
  • Images of the game

Submissions will be showcased at a networking reception and awards ceremony on March 28 in Illinois Tech’s Paul V. Galvin Library Cherry Room from 5–8 p.m.
