Have you ever wondered what Passover is all about? Now’s your chance to find out. Join Campus Life and Hillel on Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. in The McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Ballroom for a special interfaith event that explores the themes and traditions of this important Jewish holiday.
Among the primary social justice themes found in the Exodus story and in the Passover observance are hunger, homelessness, oppression, and redemption. Attendees will be encouraged to think about what this means in their own lives, and how we may work towards our shared liberation together.
Light refreshments will be served.
This event reflects the values expressed in IIT’s Diversity Statement and is intended to promote diversity at Illinois Tech.
