Guest speaker Wil Burns will present, “Into the Great Wide Open? The Promise and Peril of Climate Geo-engineering,” from 10-11:15 a.m., in Life Sciences, room 240, on Monday, September 21, 2015. Burns is co-executive director of the Forum for Climate Engineering Assessment and has published extensively on climate change, biodiversity and related issues. He is currently co-chair of the Environmental Law Committee of the International Law Association and former president of the Association of Environmental Studies and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in International Law from the School of Law of the University of Wales at Cardiff.
