IIT’s Real-Time Communications Lab is hosting a Satellite event for the Telecom Application Developers Hackathon (TADHack ) from 9 am on Friday, June 6 to 11:30 am on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in the Idea Shop.
TADHack is the only global meeting place for developers who want to learn, share, code and create across the breath of tools and technologies available to developers in telecommunications. TADHack will be live-streamed from Madrid enabling teams to compete in parallel at remote satellite events including the one taking place at the Idea Shop.
At this event, participants will be able to discover the latest ways to add communications to application, services and business processes, listen to expert speakers from around the world, see amazing new technologies, and meet the international community of telecom app developers.
The Hackathon will have $30,000 in total prize money to be won for the best ideas across the telecom application development themes. While teams participating at the IIT satellite event will be eligible for the entire prize pool, a minimum of one prize has been reserved to be awarded to a team participating locally.
Participants are free to work on ideas before the event, as well as generate ideas at the event from all the networking. In addition, webinars will be offered on the development theme before the event, so students will have an opportunity to generate ideas beforehand, so there’s no pressure during the event.
Food will be provided throughout the event, and student registrations are free of charge.
