IIT’s annual Homecoming celebrations begin on Monday, September 17, and continue through Saturday, September 22. This year’s event will be filled with fun, games, and lots of excitement all around campus—and plenty of chances to show off your Scarlet Hawk pride.
A full list of Homecoming activities and events is available on the Alumni Association’s Homecoming webpage. Most events are free of charge, and all are open to IIT students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
This year features several academic events, including the annual Darsh T. Wasan lecture, and plenty of fun for the whole family. The alumni hospitality tent and Homecoming carnival will be in Morton Park on Saturday, and sporting events include an alumni baseball game, student volleyball game, and student soccer games. Instead of the annual golf cart parade around campus, the students are going green and hosting a bicycle parade on Saturday. The members of the class of 1962 will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their graduation from IIT at the annual Golden Society Reunion luncheon on Saturday.
