IBM has selected IIT Stuart School of Business as one of eight schools nationwide to pilot the IBM Analytics Talent Assessment, a cutting-edge online platform that seeks to cultivate the next generation of workers by narrowing the Big Data and analytics skills gap.
Starting this month, students in IIT Stuart’s Marketing Analytics and Communication (MAC) program will participate in the pilot program which was launched as part of a White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Big Data event held recently in Washington.
The tool seeks to help students by gauging their readiness for careers in Big Data and analytics, and to inform employers’ decisions in hiring the right candidate for the right job.
