IIT Chicago-Kent Professor Douglas Godfrey spoke with Christian Science Monitor about a preliminary hearing concerning the shooting attack at a movie theater in Aurora, CO in 2012, commenting that such hearings have been used more in recent years to give the victims a chance to testify.
