Negotiating and communicating effectively are two common activities of most professionals. This two-part program on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Illinois Tech Rice Campus in Wheaton, Ill. consists of Negotiating in the morning and Communicating Effectively in the afternoon. The Negotiating session focuses on developing your skills in negotiating with your customers and internal associates. You will develop skills in tactics and counter tactics, concession making, achieving your intended goal, communicating and getting results. The Communicating Effectively session centers on preparing presentation documents, planning, opening the presentation, delivery, answering participant questions, and the closing.
