The application deadline for the Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (ILSAMP) Scholar Program has been extended to Monday, October 30. The ILSAMP Scholar Program is specifically related to research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

This application must be completed thoroughly, as explained in the directions below. Please note that this program is competitive in nature and not all applications may be funded. A well-written application is critical to be accepted into ILSAMP Scholar Program.

You may work with your faculty mentor to complete this application, but this application must be written/completed from the student’s point of view and perspective and not by their advisor.

If you have worked on any undergraduate research project, you are eligible for the ILSAMP scholarship. Typically, the scholarship amount ranges from $1,000 to $2,000.
