On September 26 and 27, Illinois Institute of Technology hosted the second Illinois Tech Invitational Tennis Tournament. This tournament was supported by the Illinois Tech Tennis Club and the Recreational Sports and Fitness Department.  “It was a great day for Illinois Tech Tennis,” says Tennis Club President, Mihai George Beloiu. “We received so much support from the Athletic Department and its staff and because of that, the tournament was a huge success.”

Illinois Tech finished 4-1 and tied for second and third place. University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee won the tournament with an outstanding record or 5-0. University of Illinois at Chicago and Illinois State University also showed well in tournament placing 2nd/3rd and 4th respectively.
