Illinois Tech’s student entrepreneur Vinesh Kannan has advanced to the finals in St. Louis University’s 2016 Pure Ideas Generator competition. Kannan is a computer science undergraduate and the founder of Omnipointment, a web and mobile app that allows multiple people to easily schedule meetings. He is currently participating in a startup accelerator program for his company and is also a former president of Illinois Tech’s chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO).

The finals will be held in St. Louis on Sunday, October 2.
