Illinois Louis Stokes STEM Pathway and Research Alliance (ILSPRA) Scholarship

The application deadline for the Illinois Louis Stokes STEM Pathway and Research Alliance (ILSPRA) Scholarship is November 30, 2019. The ILSPRA Scholarship program is specifically related to undergraduate research in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), architecture, and psychology. The ILSPRA program is designed to promote developed and undeveloped undergraduate research projects. Typically, scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,000.

Undergraduate applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents from racial groups underrepresented in STEM careers (African-American, Latin-American, Native-American).

The application must be thoroughly completed. A well-written application is critical for acceptance into the IILSPRA Scholarship program. Although students may work with their faculty mentors to complete the ILSPRA application, the application must be written and completed from the student’s perspective. Applications written by the student’s advisor will not be accepted. Please note: this program is competitive in nature and not all applicants may be funded.
