This summer, sharpen your English communication skills by taking a speaking or writing skills course. English Language Services will be offering the following courses: Academic Writing I and Effective Communication II. All members of the international community at Illinois Tech are encouraged to participate.

What? PESL 041 Academic Writing I and PESL 062 Effective Communication II

When? May 16 – August 5 (summer D session)

Where? These courses will meet in person at the Rettaliata Engineering Center (RE) room 121.

Academic Writing I will help you strengthen your written organization and development and enable you to integrate and cite sources accurately and appropriately.
PESL 041: Fridays, 9:00am-12:10pm CDT (Chicago time), RE 121

Effective Communication II will help you increase your fluency, engage in real world interactions, and develop your speaking skills for academic and professional success.
PESL 062: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00pm-3:35pm CDT (Chicago time), RE 121
