Meet Jason K. Resch (CS ’06) and Michael J. Sekerak (ME ’99), the recipients of the 2015 Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.
Resch worked part-time his final year as an Illinois Institute of Technology student at Cleversafe, the first startup in the university’s tech incubator, and became a full-time employee after graduation. He has an astounding 121 patents to his name and 267 patent applications pending.
Sekerak is a highly-accomplished aerospace engineer with a background in flight systems engineering, research, and military combat. He is currently a research and systems engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
The 2015 Alumni Awards luncheon and ceremony will recognize 13 alumni and two civic leaders. Help celebrate these extraordinary winners on Friday, April 24, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Hermann Hall.
