Being able to communicate scientific findings effectively is a highly valuable skill—whether you intend to pursue an academic or industrial career upon graduation.
Armour College of Engineering will host a technical presentation and writing Workshop on Wednesday, October 12 from 12:50–1:50 p.m. in Perlstein Hall 131.
This workshop will provide an overview of how to prepare a scientific poster and technical manuscript for Armour R&D projects. The workshop will also address the Armour R&D application and proposal preparation process for undergraduate engineering students intending to apply for future Armour R&D research projects. Finally, guidance on various on-campus research opportunities and how to plan ahead for summer undergraduate research both on- and off- campus (i.e. NSF Research Experience for Undergraduate [REU] programs) will be discussed.
Undergraduates intending to apply for future research opportunities are highly encouraged to attend this workshop.
