The premedical advisory committee has one Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship available to award for students interested in taking a course to prepare for the MCAT.  This scholarship is for the full cost of the course. Students must not be currently enrolled in a Kaplan test prep course. This scholarship is good for the MCAT Live Online 12-month option only.

To apply for this scholarship, you must submit a 1-to-2-page essay on what you have been doing to prepare yourself for your chosen health-profession school and why you feel the Kaplan test prep will better prepare you for the exam. Please address your current efforts to prepare yourself (shadowing and other relevant experiences), a current unofficial Illinois Tech transcript, and future plans.

All materials are to be submitted to Dr. Kathryn Spink by noon on Monday September 15, 2025. If awarded the scholarship must be redeemed by May 30, 2026.
