The premedical advisory committee has one Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship available to award students interested in taking a course to prepare for the MCAT, DAT, OAT, PCAT, or GRE (vet). Students must not be currently enrolled in a Kaplan test prep course, and this scholarship is not good for one-to-one tutoring packages, summer intensive programs, PCAT On-demand, or advantage+course options. To apply for this scholarship, you must submit a 1-2 page essay on what you have been doing to prepare yourself for your chosen health-profession school and why you feel the Kaplan test prep will better prepare you for the exam. Address your current efforts to prepare yourself (shadowing and other relevant experiences), a current unofficial Illinois Institute of Technology transcript, and future plans. Deadline for submissions is Monday, June 1, 2015 at noon. If awarded, the scholarship must be redeemed December 31, 2015. You must register for your course before the end of the year, but may take a course next year. For any questions, contact Kathryn Spink at spink@iit.edu.
