Last week, Illinois Tech Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams had three student-athletes named to the Liberal Arts Conference Preseason All-Conference team. Brigitte Temple, Luke Workman, and Jay Korhonen were all honored by the LAC.

All three swimmers earned spots on the team based on season-best times and second place finishes at the Liberal Arts Championships last season. Temple qualified with her 100 Yard Breaststroke time of 1:07.85. Korhonen’s 400 Yard Individual Medley time of 4:09.46 qualified him for the honor. Workman qualified with a 200 Yard Butterfly time of 1:58.71.

Illinois Tech’s Preseason All-Conference swimmers, along with a strong group of incoming and returning student-athletes, begin the season on Saturday, October 22 at home against Franklin College at 1 p.m.
