The Vedic Vision Society present this week’s menu for “Krishna Lunch,” a $5 Indian lunch and dessert packaged and ready to go. Pick-up locations are in Siegel Hall and Stuart Building lobby between 11 am – 1:30 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
Tuesday
1. Rice
2. Aloo gobi (seasoned potatoes and cauliflowers)
3. Dal makhini (butter lentil soup)
4. Halwa (dessert squares made from wheat semolina. clarified butter, and sugar)
Wednesday
1. Cumin Rice
2. Mutter Paneer (homemade, fresh cheese cubes in creamy sauce with peas)
3. Gulab Jamun (lightly fried milk balls soaked in rose flavored sugar syrup)
Thursday
1. Fried Rice
2. Gobi manchurian (fried cauliflowers in a flavorful sauce)
3. Simply Wonderfuls (milk fudge)
Friday
1. Rice
2. Rajma (red beans in a flavorful tomato based sauce)
3. Seasoned potatoes and bell peppers
4. Halwa (dessert squares made from wheat semolina. clarified butter, and sugar)
