Prism is pleased to present “Ain’t I a Woman: My Journey to Womanhood” featuring Laverne Cox on Monday, April 9 from 7–8 p.m. in Hermann Hall Auditorium. Cox is an Emmy-nominated actress, documentary film producer, and equal rights advocate. She is known for her prominent roles in “Orange Is the New Black” and “Doubt” and has been on the cover of Time Magazine and Cosmopolitan. She is a trailblazer for the transgender community and travels the country speaking about moving beyond gender expectations and living as one’s authentic self.
