Artificial Intelligence programmers are working hard to give robots a conscience. Humans, too, have been programmed for ethical behavior by their parents and society. Learn more about this during the Leadership Academy Seminar from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the Armour Dining Room located in Hermann Hall featuring Catharyn Baird, founder and CEO of EthicsGame.
The seminar will draw upon the latest research in behavioral ethics to show how through mindfulness, intentionality, and compassion we can transcend our programming and become more ethically mature. In this program, attendees will be introduced concept of ethical plurality, explore how ethical values are formed and priorities change, experience an interactive decision model for resolution of dilemmas, and practice effective communication strategies for ethical decisions.
This event counts as four credit hours towards your certificate in Leadership Studies.
