Marc Colwell has been named the new assistant athletic director for the Illinois Tech Athletics Department.  Colwell is entering his third year as the head women’s soccer coach and his first year as the head men’s soccer coach.  Colwell, a South Bend, Indiana native, currently holds a B.A. in journalism and criminal justice from Indiana University.  He also has a non-profit management certificate through the public administration master’s program at IIT.

“We are excited to welcome Marc into this new position.  His experience both at the NAIA and NCAA Division III levels will surely help us in our transitional period.  Marc is a great fit and we look forward to him helping take our athletics department to the next level,” said Athletic Director Enzley Mitchell IV.
