Join us for an exciting speaking event/alumni networking opportunity co-hosted by the Association for Public Administration and Master of Public Administration Program on Monday, March 28 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the first floor lobby of the Downtown Campus. MPA alumni will speak about how the MPA program helped launch their successful careers in government, nonprofits, and the private sector. The event is free of charge and refreshments will be served.
Our alumni guest speakers include Karen Williams, manager of enrollment and external relations at Governors State University; Rich Chiapetta, associate director at Accenture, a private sector consulting firm; Ron Melka, executive director of the Lyons Township Community Mental Health Commission, former head of the Chicago United Way and MPA adjunct professor in nonprofit management; and Steve Nero, elected trustee, Village of Westmont; owner of Magic Pure Water Filtration Company.
