Illinois Tech Men’s Soccer senior forward Liam Barrett has been selected to the Capital One Academic All-District men’s soccer in the college division.  The 2012 Capital One Academic All‐District Men’s Soccer Teams are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America to recognize the nation’s top student‐athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Barrett, a business major with a 4.0 GPA, is a four-year starter for the Scarlet Hawks and leads the team with 16 goals this season. He has scored 60 goals in his career at IIT.
