MILWAUKEE—The Illinois Tech men’s tennis team may be in just its first season as Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) members, but the Scarlet Hawks already have earned respect around the league. In this season’s NACC Preseason Poll voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors, Tech was picked to finish second.
The Scarlet Hawks earned a total of 186 points and seven first-place votes in the poll, trailing only Concordia University Wisconsin (193 points, 13 first-place votes). The full results of the poll are below.

Tech is off to a 1-3 start this season and will play next on Saturday at UW-Whitewater against Millikin (1:30 p.m.) and host Whitewater (5:30 p.m.). Conference play for the Scarlet Hawks opens on March 30.
