HILLSDALE, Mich.—The Illinois Tech men’s track and field team scored points this week at the Gina Relays, which were held at Hillsdale College. Tech placed 22nd in the open portion of the meet, which featured teams from NCAA Division II and NAIA divisions.

Meet Highlights

• Evan Balizado had a strong meet, placing 27th out of 91 runners in a competitive 800m field (2:00.45).
• In a large 5000m field, Julian Go finished in 96th place at 16:12.89.
• Saisaketh Valluri was awesome in the triple jump, coming in fifth place with a 12.69m mark.
