The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP) is a comprehensive, year-long research enrichment program designed to attract the most creative and research-oriented medical, dental, and veterinary science students to the NIH intramural campus in Bethesda, Maryland. Student scholars engage in a closely mentored research project that matches their research interests and career goals.
The application cycle for the 2021–2022 program is from October 1, 2020 through January 8, 2021.
The National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities is proud to participate with other NIH Institutes and Centers in the MRSP. Our goal is to introduce the MRSP to students from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, and encourage them to consider biomedical research as a career.
