The Office of Student Affairs is accepting nominations for the Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement Award. The award honors an outstanding senior from each of the four-year degree granting institutions of higher learning in Illinois.

Student Laureates are honored for their overall excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities. The student must be a senior with no less than a 3.0 cumulative and major grade point average.

The award recipient will attend a special ceremony on Saturday, November 1, 2014 in the House of Representatives of the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield. They will be presented with the Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Medallion, a certificate of achievement, and the Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement award in the amount of $1,000.
