The Office of Student Affairs is now accepting nominations for the Lincoln Academy of Illinois Student Laureate Award. This award honors an outstanding senior from each of the four-year degree granting institutions of higher learning in Illinois.

Student Laureates are honored for their overall excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities. The student must be an upcoming senior (graduating with a baccalaureate degree during the 2025–2026 academic year) with no less than a 3.0 cumulative and major grade point average. Each recipient will receive the Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Medallion, a challenge coin, a certificate of achievement and a $1,000 monetary grant. The Student Laureates will also attend a special ceremony that will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Springfield, Illinois. Attendance at the ceremony is required to receive the award.
