The IIT Chapters of Active Minds, ARCA, and Camras have partnered with the American Foundation on Suicide Prevention  to host the first Out of the Darkness Campus Walk at Illinois Tech!

Please sign up to join us in the fight against suicide, the second leading cause of death among people 15–24. Our goal is to raise $5,000 that will go towards AFSP’s mission to promote research, education, and resources on suicide prevention within our communities. If you raise $100, you will be rewarded with a AFSP T-shirt. Resource tables to learn more about suicide awareness, mental health, and healthy habits will be available.

The walk will take place on Saturday, April 6. Check-in will begin at 10 a.m., with the walk starting at 11 a.m. We will meet in front of the Keating Sports Center field. Register yourself or form a team with your department! Visit www.AFSP.org/IIT to register or for more information.
