The Illinois Tech Women’s Soccer team has earned two weekly honors for the week of October 17-23. Jessica Park has been named Goalkeeper of the Week by the USCAA, Anida Phetchanpheng has earned Player of the Week from the Association of Division III Independents.
Park earns the weekly honor for the first time in her career. The sophomore put together an impressive week, highlighted by her 16-save shutout in a 2-0 win over North Park University on October 17. She also made 12 saves in a loss at the University of Chicago on October 20. In all, she made 31 saves in three matches, going 2-1 on the week.
Phetchanpheng earns her second weekly honor from the AD3I and third overall this season. The senior recorded a hat trick in the team’s 6-1 Senior Day win over Alverno College on October 22. She now has 12 goals on the season.
